Is there a free Tiny Desk AI generator?
Updated October 27, 2026
Short answer: no generator we found renders the full Outstanding Tiny Desk AI video for free. The face swap runs on paid AI video models, so the first video costs about $9 to $15 everywhere. Here's what the free options can do, and how the paid ones compare.
What the free options can and can't do
| Option | Can | Can't |
|---|---|---|
| CapCut templates | The viral cuts and the song, free in the app | Put a face into the singing performance. You're adding photos or effects on top of the original |
| Free credits on AI video apps | Some general AI video apps give signup credits you can spend on one shot | Usually not enough for all four shots at a watchable resolution, and you still cut, stitch and add the song yourself |
| Doing it yourself | Full control with any AI video model that has a reference mode | Be free: the model renders still cost money, plus an hour or so of editing |
If you want to try the do-it-yourself route, our tutorial covers which photos work and what to check in the result.

Free and pricing questions
Is there a free Tiny Desk AI generator?
Not one that renders the full video. Every face swap is made by a paid AI video model, so the generators we checked charge about $9 to $15 for the first video. Tiny Desk AI is $8.99, the same for 1 to 5 people.
Can I make the Outstanding Tiny Desk video free with CapCut?
CapCut templates give you the cuts and the song for free, but they don't render your face into the performance. For the face swap you need an AI video model.
Why is there no free trial?
Each video runs on a paid AI video model. Instead of a watermarked trial, we refund credits automatically if a video fails, and refund unused packs within 14 days.
Which Tiny Desk AI generator is the best?
It depends on how many people you want. For one lead singer most tools work; for a whole coaching staff or team, pick one that swaps all five spots at no extra cost. Tiny Desk AI does any 1 to 5 at 720p for $8.99.
What is the cheapest way to make several videos?
Buy a pack: 3 videos for $17.99 or 5 videos for $26.99. Credits never expire, so you can save them for next weekend's losing coaches.
